VGames 3/29 v3
This is Dan. I'll try to do the subtitles like Jessica does:
What: Video gaming at my house
When: 1:00 to 5:00 on 3/29.
Who: Me, Jessica, Tuba, Franklin, Gabe, Burke. Green = coming. Hungry can't come. Franklin doesn't know, because of a big LA project (remember the 100 years into the future?) And Burke is 90% sure he can come.
Games: Super Smash Bros. BRAWL!!!! Tuba is bringing BRAWL!!!! There will be 2 Wii controllers (from Tuba) and 2 Gamecube controllers (from my sources). Also Star Wars Battlefront II, maybe I'll rent Call to Duty for PS2 if it's a four player shooter game, maybe other games. Also Chess, cards, computer and other board games are avaliable.
NO BUSINESS (unless it's urgent or something)!
What to bring: Bring your TI 84+s if you want. NO DARWIN AWARDS
Hungry: If you get this message, email me back (using my normal email, not the reply button).

Hey people! If you have Microsoft Office 2003 and are mad that you can't open 2007 files, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/thankyou.aspx?familyId=941b3470-3ae9-4aee-8f43-c6bb74cd1466&displayLang=en
for a free download so that you can OPEN 2007 files with your old program, but not save them with the new features. The download is from Microsoft, so you can trust it. I've already done it and it's AWESOME

Laser Tag & Other Stuff + Daniel's comments
Hi. This is Jessica. Due to certain recent events involving annoying phone calls from certain people (tell me if you don't know what I'm talking about), I'm feeling an amazing urge to go...zap... something. Whatever. As in, Zap Zone. So I looked up our days off in March.
We have March 10th off school. This is a Tuesday. That means $4 dollar game day. Cheap. Which is also cool. (If you've read this previously, the lock in thing is out. Once Dan told me what it was, I decided that it was a bad idea).
Feedback?
Oh yeah, and if I got positive feedback this would implement the thing I outlined in the community service packet I handed out/emailed. Please read it if you haven't yet. In other words, it'd be parent-drop-off-and-pick-up-no-chaperone-required. Which would allow Martin to come.
Dan writes:
I don't really want to do the lock-in because it costs a lot (i'm not sure how much, I heard $40+ and Jessica heard $20), and i'm not sure I would want to stay the whole time, and that doesn't factor in vgames and food, so that's a lot. But I think the tuesday we have off would be a good day to do lasertag.

Powerpoints
This is Dan
I am making a new powerpoint. I don't know when it will come out. Just be patient. It's going to be hilarious.
I got a problem, however. When my computer died, :( the stupid computer mechanic put Microsoft Office 2003 Professional on the computer, but he didn't give us the disk. So now all the cool powerpoint components like built in sounds are unavaliable. And it likes to give me a lot of grief by putting up weird message boxes. It's very frustrating.
Another problem. I have NO IDEA what happened to that old powerpoint I was working on. It's not on the computer, it's not on any of my flash drives. Does anybody have it (probably Jessica if anybody)? It was called something like Demented Cartoon Movie 2. If you have it, please send it to me through Yahoo IM (it's too big to email)

The. Park.
[edited version.]
The park. This contains all necessary info. Please read this.
Date: Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009. This is the last day of finals. We have a 1/2 day.
Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Place: The park. The same park as last time. Meet in the exact same part of the park as last time.
Chaperone: My mom.
Activities: Business, hiking, SNOW, etc.
What to wear: Snowpants, coats (wah), hats, gloves, boots, whatever else you think you need. Note: If you don't have that stuff you'll be very wet, very cold, and very unhappy. Trust me, this past Saturday I was living proof of that.
Transportation: Have a ride to and from the park. Or walk. Or hire a private jet. Whatever.
Cost: None.
Food: None provided.
(NEW) Facilities: This section has been deleted. Personally, I never wanted it in the first place.
Business: The two rules on the last park have been approved (see previous posting). Even if all the people that don't know about them yet vote no, the rules are still going through. Proposed time limit: Three minutes minimum. If a certain object of business is over three minutes and nobody objects fine, but if somebody objects.....Stop talking. What d'y'all think?
(NEW) Please have whatever business you want to discuss concise and ready to go so we can get it over with.
People:
Me: Going (duh).
Dan: Going.
Hungry: Going.
Tuba: Going.
Burke: I still don't know. I'm gonna try to call him tomorrow and yell @ him. If I can't (my mom seems to think we're going straight to see my grandparents after school and then straight to the park), then, Tuba, can we use your cell (if he doesn't show up)? I'd call tonight but I was working/studying until now - which is 10:23pm.
Gabe: Not going. Stupid wrestling.
Martin: Not invited - my mom wouldn't let me. I'll try again next time, promise.
Stephany: Not invited. I doubt she could go.
-Jessica-
UPDATE AS OF 1/21/09: If any of you happen to look @ this thing, let it be known that ALL BUSINESS needs to wait until we are IN THE WOODS!!! More details on why when we get IN THE WOODS.
