Xmas Break!

Hey guys! As we discussed at the Thanksgiving group event, we're going to do dinner + zap zone over Xmas - at least, for the first event.
Date:Tues, 12/17/12.
Time: Approx. 5pm-10pm
What: Have dinner at this place Tuba knows about in Dearborn - apparently they have the best burgers in the world? Then go to zap zone for some old fashioned laser tag nostalgia.
Cost: No idea how much dinner is; ltag is $4/game
Transport: Carpool in Tuba's car; meet at his house or my house, TBD.
People: The Group

Thanksgiving GHO V3

Date: Sat, 11/24/12
Time: 12pm to ~4pm.
Place: Meet at my house, carpool from there. We do have family staying with us for the holidays though, so I'd like to leave my house fairly quickly.
What: Probably Maybury and the cider mill. If anybody wants to do anything else, we can change the plans too, nbd. If you guys don't want to go to Maybury though, I'd like to know ahead of time, because I will go before the group thing if y'all don't want to go.

Thanksgiving GHO! V2

Hey guys! I hope you're all enjoying college. I just wanted to let everyone know about the next group thing.
Date: Friday, Nov 23rd
Time: Afternoon.
What: GHO & catching up!! We'll decide precisely what to do once we get there; options will include the park, bowling, someone's house, the mall, the cider mill...anything, really. My vote is the cider mill & maybury (weather providing) , but I'm pretty okay with anything. :)
People: The group!
Contact: A week or two in advance.

Please note that since Thanksgiving break is short, day/time is nonnegotiable. Also, it's strictly GHO - no real planning involved. I will try to plan something cool for Xmas break, but this is not it - its just a reunion type thing so we can all see each other.

LAST EVENT OF SUMMER! V1

Hey guys! This is the last event of summer, which means there won't be another group event until at least Thanksgiving, possibly Xmas. Try to come, even if you can only come to part of it!! We're doing 3 different things as part of this event, so read carefully.
Date: Thurs, 8/16/12
Time: 11:30am-Later. Eat lunch before coming.
Place: Meet @ my house.
Event #1: Trolling around the mall/Ford Rd. Essentially making idiots of ourselves because we can.
Event #2: Swimming at Sheldon pool. After we get bored with trolling, before dinner.
Event #3: Dinner! Designed for talking, saying a temporary goodbye.
Food: Plan on eating lunch before coming, or paying for takeout.
Bring: Swimming stuff, money, whatever you want.
People: Jess, Dan, Trombone, Martin, Burke Gabe, Tuba
Cost: $4 for the pool + $ for dinner and $ if you want to buy anything at the mall.

Try to come to as much of this as you can, but if you can only come to part of it, that's okay too - still plan on trying to make it!!

Summer Park V2

Hey guys! It's time for our first post-senior trip event - a park. We haven't been in awhile, so hopefully it'll be a lot of fun.
Date: Jul 8th - Sunday.
Time: 1pm - 4/5ish
Place: Rotary. Meet at the pavilion near the bathrooms.
What: General park - hiking, fighting, talking, playground, etc.
Bring: Water, sports stuff, whatever.
Business: Info about future summer events. I'll keep it short!!
People: Me, Trombone, Martin, Dan, Tuba, Burke, Gabe
Weather: If it rains, plan for the next Sunday.

Senior Trip - V1

Part One - Cedar Point & Kelley's Island
Date: Fri June 8th - Sun June 10th.
Time: Meet @ 7am SHARP at my house Friday morning. Be ready to leave. We'll arrive home Sunday night, time doesn't matter.
Place: Cedar Point & Trombone's cottage on Kelley's Island
Food: Trombone's dad is cooking for us. Bring your own food to CP or prepare to pay a lot of money for lunch & dinner
Transport: Trombone or Tuba will be driving us all in a van
Bring: Everything on the packing list I emailed you
Weather: I'll buy Cedar Point tickets Thurs night; if the forecast is bad, we'll go Monday June 11th instead.
Part Two - Camping
Date: Tues June 12th - Thurs June 14th
Time: Meet @ my house @ 1pm on Tues. Arrive home Thurs night.
Place: Nordhouse Dunes, on Lake Michigan
Transport: Trombone or Tuba in a van
Food: Combination of cooking & buying food. We'll grocery shop for supplies on Monday, June 11th.
Bring: Everything I assigned you on the packing list I emailed you.
Weather: It may affect departure/return times; if necessary we'll try to go later in the summer.
Overall:
Cost: Approx $150/person

Very Important Meeting V3

Date: 5/31/12. Thursday
Start Time: approx 10/11am, or whenever you finish marching/commencement practice. Literally come straight from practice to my house. SHS people should text me first.
End Time: When we finish. Please don't make other plans for this day, just in case it takes longer than I want it to.
Place: My house.
What: FINISHING senior trip plans & assigning packing stuff. I need everybody to KNOW for SURE what camping and airsoft supplies they can bring. If everyone knows this, we can finish faster. If not, then we'll have to go your house and have you look through stuff.
Food: Bring either your lunch, money to buy food, or willingness to eat whatever I happen to have in my house at the time.
People: Jess, Trombone, Martin, Dan, Tuba, Gabe, Burke.--These names need to all turn to green unless people decide they're not going.
Fun?: Sure, if we get the business done. Ideally, we can wrap everything up in an hour or two and then play ping pong or go to the park or play videogames. For once the business HAS to come first though.

There will be no excuses. I don't care if your other friends are having a party or if your girlfriend wants something or if you have the opportunity to work that day. We all have to be there this one time. Now. If you are GOING ON THE TRIP, you MUST come to the 'packing meeting'. Details will be both here and on facebook, so nobody misses anything ever. Please put the date in your phone/calendar/head NOW and DON'T plan anything else for this day.

Martin's Bday/Grad Party

Date: April 29th.
Time: 3pm until whenever.
Where: Martin's house
What: Grad/Bday party.
People: The group + whoever (open event)

There will be a dueling tournament (Yugioh), food (Chinese food and Filipino food), and Halo on the garage wall if Martin can get a projector.

If you come around 12 or 1 you can join Trombone and Martin in going to a Yugioh tournament thing (more info later)
