Date: July 7th. Thursday
Time: 11am-4pm. Meet @ the DQ @ 11
What: Kensington. Hiking/swimming.
Bring: Lunch, water, swimming stuff
Transport: We'll use Trombone's car. If you cant ride w/ him, talk to me. We need to discuss the transport issue as a group.
Cost: $5 per car. Hence my desire to all go in Trombone's car and split the cost ($1 each-ish)
People: Me, Trombone, Dan, Tuba, Martin, Burke (job), Gabe
Vgames: Plan them, by all means. But find a different day. I think the group needs to discuss this at this point...
Weather: partly cloudy, 83 degrees.
Business: Not really. Just the stuff I already mentioned (vgames and transport) and I'm not sure that really counts as business...

For those of you who cant drive w/ Trombone:
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it'll be okay if he drives you within the park only. It costs money to get in per car, so we need to try and all go in his. We'll meet @ the Dairy Queen on the corner of Milford and Huron River Pkwy - right next to a park entrance. If this is NOT OKAY with you/your parents, you need to talk to me. I'm hoping this is okay since a 12 year old with no driving experience could safely drive around Kensington....But if its not, then the extra cost of your car will be on you and you'll have to make arrangements about meeting places and also how to get from the hiking trails to the beach, or whether to only come to part of the event (just hiking or just beach). Call me if you have questions or need clarification.
If you are allowed to drive with him, talk to him about where to pick you up - it's easiest if we make it my house I think.
My parents won't be home, so I'm good for the ride there, but someone's gotta pick me up. As for the ride back, I'm stuck... Someone call me up when you all get back from your Godsent cottages...

1) Be ready @ your house 10:15
2) I'll call you if there's an issue - I haven't actually talked to Trombone about this yet.
If you're getting your own ride:
1) Meet @ 11 @ the DQ on the corner of Milford Rd and Huron River Pkwy. Google it or call me for directions (cell phone please)
2) The Trombone car may be a little late since it has more stops to make. Just warning you. So if you want to arrive @ 11:15 I won't kick you. Just sayin', off the record. :)
