Very Important Meeting V3

Date: 5/31/12. Thursday
Start Time: approx 10/11am, or whenever you finish marching/commencement practice. Literally come straight from practice to my house. SHS people should text me first.
End Time: When we finish. Please don't make other plans for this day, just in case it takes longer than I want it to.
Place: My house.
What: FINISHING senior trip plans & assigning packing stuff. I need everybody to KNOW for SURE what camping and airsoft supplies they can bring. If everyone knows this, we can finish faster. If not, then we'll have to go your house and have you look through stuff.
Food: Bring either your lunch, money to buy food, or willingness to eat whatever I happen to have in my house at the time.
People: Jess, Trombone, Martin, Dan, Tuba, Gabe, Burke.--These names need to all turn to green unless people decide they're not going.
Fun?: Sure, if we get the business done. Ideally, we can wrap everything up in an hour or two and then play ping pong or go to the park or play videogames. For once the business HAS to come first though.

There will be no excuses. I don't care if your other friends are having a party or if your girlfriend wants something or if you have the opportunity to work that day. We all have to be there this one time. Now. If you are GOING ON THE TRIP, you MUST come to the 'packing meeting'. Details will be both here and on facebook, so nobody misses anything ever. Please put the date in your phone/calendar/head NOW and DON'T plan anything else for this day.

Martin's Bday/Grad Party

Date: April 29th.
Time: 3pm until whenever.
Where: Martin's house
What: Grad/Bday party.
People: The group + whoever (open event)

There will be a dueling tournament (Yugioh), food (Chinese food and Filipino food), and Halo on the garage wall if Martin can get a projector.

If you come around 12 or 1 you can join Trombone and Martin in going to a Yugioh tournament thing (more info later)

Hey guys! Park postponed due to snow/cold. Here's the new info:

Place: Maybury. Meet at my house and we'll carpool.
What: Hiking, talking, sword fighting, eating, trolling, who cares?

Business: Update on Stephany, hopefully.
Cost: None, unless $5 parking fee.
Transport: Carpool. Meet at my house and we'll figure out who's driving.

Meeting + GHO V3.0 (edt 2/17)

Hey guys! We need to discuss the senior trip, namely a contingency plan in the event that Stephany can't come. Hence, the meeting. I'll combine it with GHO at my house.
Date: 2/20/12. Monday. No school.
Time: 11:30-4. Come earlier or stay later if you want, don't care.
Place: My house
What: First, a meeting, then GHO at my house. My house can also be turned into any public place within a 5-10 mile radius.
Food: Tuba will grab a pizza. If you want any, bring money to pitch in. Better yet, text Tuba and tell him you want to pitch in money and how much pizza you want.
Bring:Ideas for what to do if Stephany can't go on the trip.
Business: Senior trip. To be taken seriously.
People: Me, Trombone, Tuba, Martin, Dan, Gabe, Burke. Note: Dan leaves at 1, Tuba leaves @ 2 and comes back before 4.

Auto Show VFINAL (edt 1/15)

Hey guys. We're doing something a little different this time - the auto show. Please approach this with the right attitude so it's fun.
Date: Mon, Jan 16th. (no school)
Time: Leave @ 9:15am from my house. Return in afternoon
Place: Cobo Center
Transport: Tuba's mom can take everybody because she's going to Detroit for other stuff. No parking fee!
Cost: Tickets: $12 + People Mover + Food. Bring $25 & $1.50 IN QUARTERS for the people mover.
Food A restaurant. Bring $. We'll probably be eating pretty late (approx 2pm) so eat a good breakfast.
People: Jess, Trombone, Martin, Tuba, Dan, Gabe, Burke
Girlfriends: No.

Belated Birthday Party

When: Probably Dec 30th. 12-5pm.

Who: Dan, Jess, Trombone, Tuba, Martin, Burke, Gabe, Kellie

What: Birthday Party at my house. Mostly vgames, hanging out, whatever. If it looks like snow, and we have an epic snowstorm like last year, we'll have a snowball fight. If that happens I'll contact everyone to bring snow stuff.

Transportation: Get your own! Please don't get stuck at my house.

Should you give me a present: If you want. Small amounts of money or iTunes gift cards are greatly appreciated.

Mall & Movie VFINAL

Date: Sat 12/17.

Time: 6:30/7 - 10:30/11. Should start movie by 8:30/9. YOU MUST LEAVE RIGHT AFTER THE MOVIE. My parents want to go to sleep.

What: Mall hide and seek, followed by a movie night at my house.
Place: Meet @ Gamestop in Westland mall, drive to my house after. If you have transport issues, handle them.
The Movie: Decide when we get there. If you want to bring a movie suggestion, that's cool. Or we might go rent one. Whatever.

What: Vgames n stuff at my house. Bring whatever you want. I guess its a GHO. Trombone will bring Brawl. There will be generic shooting games. There is DDR (but nobody will want to play). Maybe Mudge should bring Quelf if we get bored.
When: Friday, November 24th, 12 - 5.

Plea for Information

Hey guys. Long time no see, though hopefully either Dan will plan vgames for Thanksgiving break or he'll tell me he's not so I can plan a GHO or something (ahem). ANYWAY, I'm posting this because I need opinions on something:

So. Senior Trip. We made a LOT of progress at our last meeting (though it may not have felt like it) and we'd planned on meeting again over Xmas break, probably after the 1st of the year. Hopefully Stephany will have heard from Harvard by then and/or know if she can come. However, I have not heard from her and don't know where she's at on this, or if she'd be able to make the meeting. The question I propose for y'all is this: do you guys feel that you have enough questions/new information/business to take care of to warrant a meeting without Steph? Obviously if she has a direct answer for us by then, we'll need to meet, but if not, do you guys think its worth it?

Please think about this and let me know whenever I see y'all next, or via some random form of modern communication. I want group input though. Personally, I feel like we could ramp up some of the planning, but I need to know if you guys agree. Thanks!
